A man captured the moment two Ringgold Police officers decided to offer help instead of a citation.

Viewer Chase Rhinehart took the video as the officers gave a woman a new car seat.

The little boy was clearly excited to see his new seat.

The Ringgold City Police Department identified the officers as Chad Cardin and Joshua Van Dyke. Dyke is a K9 officer, and Cardin is also Chief of the Georgia Northwestern Technical College Police.

The department says the officers paid for the car seat out of their own pockets.
