Tennessee Titans' first-round pick Isaiah Wilson was arrested on a DUI charge Friday night following a crash, Metro Police said.
Wilson, 21, registered a .107% on a breath alcohol test, police said. The legal limit is .08%.
Witnesses told police Wilson lost control of his car while doing "donuts" in the intersection on 25th Avenue North and Charlotte Avenue. Wilson's Dodge Charger ended up hitting a concrete wall.
Interim Metro Police Chief John Drake said during a community conversation Saturday morning that the Titans team had been contacted about Wilson's arrest.
"He blew a .10%, not good," Chief Drake said.
Wilson's bond was set at $1,000. He was released from the Davidson County Detention Center at 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
Titans official statement:
“We are aware of the situation. This is not conduct that is indicative of the character of our football team and we are working through details on how to proceed.”
