Former University of Tennessee at Chattanooga All-Southern Conference linebacker Dale Warren has accepted an invitation to mini-camp with the NFL's Buffalo Bills. Warren is joining former teammate Lucas Webb ('17) with the Bills's rookies on May 10-13.

Warren was a four-year letter winner for the Mocs who played in 43 games with 18 starts. He was a first team All-SoCon selection as a junior in 2016 when he tied a school-record with a league leading 19.0 TFLs.

"Dale is one of the most talented football players I have been around," stated UTC head coach Tom Arth. "He truly loves the game and prepares and plays with focus and passion. I am confident that Dale will take full advantage of every opportunity he has with the Buffalo Bills organization."

Warren came on strong towards the end of his senior year, posting 35 tackles over the last five games. He had a team-high 5.0 TFLs the last five outings in 2017, including 2.0 TFLs in a 23-21 win at No. 8 Samford.

Warren participated in the College Gridiron Showcase after his senior year. He is completing his degree in Criminal Justice.

Warren joins Webb and Josh Cardiello ('17 – Buccaneers) as the three Mocs with rookie mini-camp tryouts. Five other Chattanooga letterwinners are currently under contract with NFL teams, including C.J. Board ('16 - Brown), Keionta Davis ('16 – Patriots), Tae Davis ('17 – Giants), Corey Levin ('16 – Titans), Buster Skrine ('10 – Jets).
