Something you’ll always see in the game of soccer, is a header. Though the pros make them look fun and easy, there is a hazard and a safe way to perform them.
Chattanooga Football Club defender Sinder Welo tells us a few tips to head the ball safely and comfortably.
A few of those tips include making contact with the ball with your forehead. Any other place can hurt, cause some damage and, in some cases, lead to concussions.
Because of this, the US Youth Soccer organization has banned players 10 years and under from heading the ball in games or practices.
