Joining us tonight is Fisher Wise from the Law Offices of Fisher Wise, to present our Scholar Athlete of the Week, in memory of Philip D. Wise.
From Chattanooga Central High School is Jameson Willard.
Jameson is the star kicker for the Purple Pounders.
He is a part of the Chattanooga Football Club Elite Soccer for the past three years.
In the classroom Jameson holds a 3.88 GPA, member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club and 21 club.
Some of his consistent academic achievement’s awards including being in the top ten percent of the graduating class, and in the national society of high school scholars.
Outside the classroom, Jameson is a band member, part of the Bayside Baptist Youth Ministry and the Boy Scouts of America for the past seven years.
Jameson is currently undecided on his college selection.
From Notre Dame is Anna Qualey.
Anna is an accomplished tennis player, recently she was named the best of preps - all city high school tennis player as a junior varsity team member for 2017-2019, where she played number one in singles in 2019.
Anna led the girls 2019 team to Elite 8 and finished in the state tournament.
In doubles play she competed undefeated for the regular season.
She was captain of the girls tennis team and captured third place in District Doubles Championship in 2019.
In the classroom, Anna holds a 4.15 GPA, Co-President of National Spanish Honors Society, member of National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy and captain of the student council “House of Rex”.
Anna’s spends time in the community as a volunteer at CHI Memorial Hospital, the Chattanooga Food Bank, OLPH tennis program, Knights of Columbus, March of Life and a Cub Scout Camp Leader for the Boy Scouts of America.
Anna is also undecided on her high education.
