Heath Eslinger is stepping down as the wrestling coach of the Chattanooga Mocs.
On Thursday, Eslinger told NewsChannel 9 he has accepted a job with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes with an emphasis on coaching development.
He led the Mocs wrestling program for nine years as head coach and two as an assistant.
Eslinger's resignation is effective August 1st.
Eslinger told us that he is "super grateful" for his time with Chattanooga, but felt "God had provided this path" to his new job.
UTC named Kyle Ruschell as the interim head coach and has begun a national search for a replacement.
