Chattanooga Mocs defense clamps down on Mercer for a 34-17 victory

The Chattanooga Mocs knocked off Mercer 34-17 behind a stout defensive performance in Macon. The Mocs held the Bears to three yards rushing in the first half, 29 for the game

Offensively, the Mocs rushed for 225 yards, led by Ailym Ford's 116 yards and one touchdown. Jeffrey Wood added 74 yards.

Nick Tiano threw for 190 yards and two scores.

The Mocs (3-3) are (2-0) in the Southern Conference with an open date next weekend.
