BEDFORD, Va. (WSET) - A young boy in Bedford got a special surprise for his third birthday party on Saturday.

Levi Fitzpatrick was celebrated on July 11 by members of the Bedford Police Department.

Fitzpatrick's birthday party was held outside on Saturday due to COVID-19. He celebrated by wearing a police uniform of his own and had a "Blue Lives Matter" cake.

On his driveway, messages of "Happy Birthday Levi" and "We Back the Blue" were written in chalk.

The Bedford Police Officers said that they were humbled and honored to show up at Levi's birthday party.
