Target, Costco and more stores to close Easter Sunday to give employees a break

As business surges at retail stores during the COVID-19 pandemic, some of them are setting aside Easter Sunday as a break for their employees.

Target and Costco have announced they will be closed April 12th, according to KRON.

Trader Joe’s also announced on its website all stores will be closed Easter “to give our incredible Crew Members a much needed day of rest.”

Here's a list of stores that will be closed on Easter Sunday:

  • Aldi
  • Costco
  • Sam’s Club
  • Target
  • Trader Joe’s

The following stores will be open on Easter Sunday:

  • CVS
  • Randalls
  • Walmart
  • Walgreens
  • Whole Foods
