This weekend, people are searching miles of bargains at the World's Longest Yard Sale.

The yard sale is 690 miles long and extends through six states along U.S. Highway 127, from Gadsden, Alabama to Hudson, Michigan.

And part of it goes through Signal Mountain.

On Friday, we found vendors and sellers setting up shop early this morning.

One man from Alabama says you can find some pretty historic items here.

“There’s so much stuff from all over the world. Last year I had a trunk from Germany that's older than the U.S. I mean it was 400 years old. It's cool we don't see that many antiques that old," said business owner Dave Laten.

Dunlap Police are working yard sale goers about counterfeit money. They say most victims are vendors, customers and fast food restaurants.

Poolice say to inspect the money closely, and feel it. If you think money is counterfeit, call police.

The yard sale runs through Sunday, there are also food vendors along the path of the yard sale.
