If you live in Tennessee, it's time to start saving for the state's sales tax holiday.

The Department of Revenue announced Tennessee's sales tax-free weekend will be July 27-29.

Shoppers will be able to save nearly 10 percent on clothing, school supplies, and computers. State and local taxes won't be collected on clothing, school and art supplies which cost $100 or less, or on computers costing $1,500 or less.

In all, over 150 items will be sales tax-free. The tax holiday begins Friday, July 27 at 12:01 and ends Sunday, July 29 at 11:59 in the evening.

Target and Walmart are making tax free shopping more convenient by loading local school's supply list onto their sites.

Target's store manager Bret Burris says parents can order all the supplies on the list free of taxes and pick them up in their local store.
