The Hamilton County Department of Education (HCDE) says Howard Connect Academy will be the only school in Hamilton County to officially collaborate with NASA.

Starting in August, Howard Connect Academy students will have an opportunity to have in-person and virtual interactions with employees of NASA.

The school will have NASA resources, competitions and a full NASA curriculum made for students.

HCDE says Howard Connect Academy is breaking the mold for middle school education with this collaboration.

The Howard Connect Academy is an Open Enrollment school and will accept 150 rising sixth graders for new school year.

You can still apply for the Howard Connect Academy on the Hamilton County Schools' website at HCDE.org. until March 15th.
