Chattanooga Police delivered holiday cheer to more than 400 families and individuals in Chattanooga on Friday.

The gifts came from Unum, which for the 19th year in a row has adopted people in several programs with the Partnership for Families, Children and Adults (PFCA).

"When Unum first started participating, they had a few mini vans and a station wagon that they would fill up," said Partnership’s CEO, Pam Ladd. "19 years later, they’ve filled two moving trucks with gifts for our clients and it is quite amazing."

Unum worked with CPD, CARTA, and Armstrong Relocation Services to store and move gifts for 444 people around the city.

PFCA says companies and individuals have adopted more than 600 clients for the drive, and needs continue to grow.

Wish lists typically include things like warm clothing, toilet paper, and canned food - and sometimes even holiday surprises.
