Changes could soon be coming to how you park in Chattanooga's Southside.

The Chattanooga Parking Authority (CPA) and the city's Department of Transportation both say they are looking into it.

They want to put in a residential parking program with an annual permit fee for the Cowart and Fort Negley neighborhoods.

They're also looking at putting pay facilities on Main Street from Broad to Wilhoit Street and some side streets.

CPA would enforce that.

They say the changes are needed as the restaurant district continues to grow.
