WASHINGTON (SBG) — Kevin Hart is now the latest big name in Hollywood to sign an exclusive deal with the streaming giant.

After signing on to star in the upcoming Netflix series, “True Story,” Hart is now extending his stay at Netflix with an exclusive film deal. According to Deadline, under the umbrella of Hartbeat Productions, the “Comedic Rockstar” has inked a new deal with the streaming service to produce and star in four new films. News of this deal also tails after Kevin Hart earned Netflix’s #1 comedy special of 2020.

“Partnering with Netflix is an amazing opportunity for HartBeat and myself,” Hart told Deadline. “I am excited to act in and produce cutting edge films with Netflix. Our goal is to make the HartBeat name synonymous with first-class entertainment and narratives.”

As Netflix continues its rise as a major player in the film industry, it has seen many notable Hollywood names make their way to its platform, including Dave Chappelle, Adam Sandler, and more.
