WASHINGTON (SBG) — Kanye West is celebrating his new deal with the Gap in the most Kanye fashion.

A new mural from the Gap featuring a handwritten note from Kanye West has appeared in Chicago.

It comes after the rapper officially inked a 10-year deal with the GAP to create his new affordable "Yeezy GAP" clothing line. The San Francisco-based Gap Inc. hopes the deal with Yeezy will keep it relevant with modern day shoppers.

The message reads:

“Thank God. Hi Chicago, it’s Ye. This is the Gap store I used to shop at when I would drive my Nissan from the Southside. So Blessed. I thank God and I am so humbled at the opportunity to serve. I put my heart into the color palette and every detail.
I love Tron the original.
Do you like stuff? I don’t know what to do with my hands. Love, YZY Yeezy.”

Announced last week, the ‘Yeezy Gap’ collaboration promises to be “modern, elevated basics for men, women and kids at accessible price points.” Kanye's new collection is expected in stores next year as Kanye West continues to make his name, and work, known in the fashion world. Having history with the GAP, Kanye West has gone from being an employee and wanting to become their creative director, to forming a partnership with the company.
